At Provident, we have a duty to protect and safeguard all personally identifiable information, including health information. In the wake of public cyber security hacks and breaches in the news, we will be implementing even more security initiatives in the coming years. These additional steps are taking place to ensure that our clients and brokers can relay important information to us as securely as possible.
One initiative that we have had in place for the last six years is our secure email licensing feature, which allows our clients and brokers the ability to return sensitive information to us securely using the click here link in our email signatures. Please utilize this link in our reply emails when uploading any files you wish to securely share.
Below is an example of our email signature. The first sentence reads, “As we are concerned about privacy, please click here to upload files securely.” Utilizing this click here link will take you to a page that will ask you in input your email address, first and last name, and your company/organization. From there, you can simply upload any kind of file(s) you need to send us by either clicking “browse files” or you can easily drag and drop the file right onto the screen. You can attach as many files as you wish as there isn’t a size limit. From there, click the “Upload” button in the bottom left-hand corner. You’ll see a notice that the file has been successfully uploaded. On our end, we receive your file(s) and will reach out accordingly.
